My name is Bobbi Fargo. I am a doula finishing through Chidlbirth International! I am currently living in Pulaski NY, I will be happy to serve Syracuse and surrounding
areas, Oswego and surrounding areas and Watertown and surrounding areas. Right
now my services that are offered are Labor and Postpartum Doula, pregnancy massage, Belly Casting, Aromatherapy. use of hypnobabies

My biggest belief is that a woman needs to feel
Empowered through out her pregnancy and labor.
A woman figures usually that her labor will go her way and sometimes it doesn't
go as planned at all which leaves a woman feeling vulnerable and that things are out of control with Empowering the mother
There are no right or wrong answers, Each decision becomes what is right for the mother, it takes an assertive approach
to decision making, It involves the caregiver, and its WOMAN CENTERED

A doula provides:
- explanations of medical procedures
- emotional support
- advice during pregnancy
- exercise and physical suggestions to make pregnancy more comfortable
- help with preparation of a birth plan
- massage and other non-pharmacological pain relief measures
- positioning suggestions during labor and birth
- helps support the partner so that they can love and encourage the laboring woman
- avoid unnecessary interventions
- help with breastfeeding preparation and beginnings,
- written record of the birth/Photos that can be taken by the doula.
- Other things that really will vary from Doula to Doula.

- tends to result in shorter labors with fewer complications
- reduces negative feelings about one’s childbirth experience
